How We Began…
Unique Directions was founded by Wendy Cherry as a result of the experience she had with her son Thomas, who has non-verbal autism. Wendy entered the disability supports industry to help provide Thomas with an independent living solution, that would allow him to maintain the same quality of life, even when she is no longer able to help.
It is Wendy’s drive, determination and passion that have helped build Unique Directions to become a highly sought after NDIS Provider in Mackay. We are not just any ordinary Provider. Unique Directions is committed to providing a holistic, family feel. At Unique Directions, we work together as a family, to ensure that every day, we are making the lives of our participants and their families one that is filled with support, love, friendship and happiness.
